A mantra is a word or phrase repeated by Buddhists and Hindus when they meditate, or to help them feel calm.

∎ prayer [prεǝr 프뤠어r] 기도

┈┈• kneel down in prayer 무릎 꿇고 기도하다

┈┈• prayers for the sick 아픈 사람들을 위한 기도

∎ pray [prei 프뤠이] 간원(懇願)하다, 빌다. 기도하다

┈┈• pray twice a day 하루에 두 번 기도하다

∎ heaven and earth [hévn ænd ǝːrθ 헤븐 앤 어r-쓰 ] 천지(天地), 우주, 만물

∎ move heaven and earth to ~하기 위해 대대적 노력을 하다
