순결한 마음으로 천지공정에 참여하라
1 임인(壬寅 : 道紀 32, 1902)년 4월에 상제님께서 전주 하운동 김형렬(金亨烈)의 집에 계시며 천지대신문을 열고 천지공사를 행하시니라. 

2 이때 상제님께서 말씀하시기를 “내가 이제 천지를 개벽하여 하늘과 땅을 뜯어고치고 

3 무극대도(無極大道)를 세워 선천 상극의 운을 닫고 

4 조화선경(造化仙境)을 열어 고해에 빠진 억조창생을 건지려 하노라. 

5 이제 온 천하를 한집안이 되게 하리니 너는 오직 순결한 마음으로 천지공정(天地公庭)에 참여하라.” 하시니라. 새로 만들어야 하느니라

6 하루는 형렬에게 이르시기를 “나의일은 천지를 개벽함이니 곧 천지공사니라.

7 네가 나를 믿어 힘을 쓸진대 무릇 남이 만들어 놓은 것을 인습(因襲)할 것이 아니요, 새로 만들어야 하느니라.” 하시니라.

With a Pure Mind, Participate in the Grand Court That Conducts the Work of Renewing Heaven and Earth
1In April 1902 (DG 32), as he resided at Gim Hyeong-ryeol’s house in Haun-dong Village in Jeonju County, Sangjenim opened heaven and earth’s great gate 

of the spirit realm and conducted a work of renewing heaven and earth.

2Sangjenim declared, “I will now renew heaven and earth by disassembling and reconstructing them,

3raise up the Supreme Dao of Mugeuk to end the Early Heaven’s destiny of mutual conflict and domination,

4and bring forth the Immortal Paradise of 

Creation-Transformation to deliver humanity from the sea of agony.

5Since I will unite the entire world into one household, you must participate in the grand court that conducts the Work of Renewing Heaven and Earth and do so with a pure mind.” You Must Instead Craft Everything Anew

6One day, Sangjenim proclaimed to Hyeong-ryeol, “My work is the renewal of heaven and earth—it is, thus, the Work of Renewing Heaven and Earth.

7Striving with your faith in me, you must not follow ways crafted by others—you must instead craft everything anew.”
