천지사업은 용(用)공부를 잘해야

1 “Since our practice is an ‘applied practice,’ you must know how to control your mind and body.
우리 공부는 용(用)공부니 제 몸 하나 단속할 줄 알아야 하느니라.

2 “The grace of heaven and earth! The grace of your ancestors!
천지의 음덕(蔭德)이요, 선령의 음덕이라.

3 “Since great buddhas dwell in every house, is not every house the house of immortality?
도(都)부처가 들어앉으니 집은 선가(仙家)가 아닐런가.

4 “I wish for the ultimate qi, the ripening qi of autumn, to now descend in abundance from on high.”
지기금지 원위대강(至氣今至願爲大降).
