이제는 신명시대

Now is the age of spirits.

이때는 신명시대(神明時代)라.

I send spirits into people’s bodies

이제 신명으로 하여금 사람 몸 속에 출입하게 하여

to transform their constitutions and temperaments so that they can serve in my work,

그 체질과 성품을 고쳐 쓰리니

for even a wooden post can serve in my work if I bestow it with qi .

이는 비록 말뚝이라도 기운만 붙이면 쓰임이 되는 연고라.

Reform your mind and refrain from sin by finding comfort in being foolish, destitute, humble, and weak.

오직 어리석고 가난하고 천하고 약한 것을 편히 하여 부디 마음을 잘 고쳐 죄를 짓지 말라.
