Your faith in Me flows from the devotion and virtue of your ancestors.
선령의 음덕(蔭德)으로 나를 믿게 되나니

If those graced with such devotion and virtue stray from My dao, spirits pull them back, cautioning, ‘You will die if you stray.’
음덕이 있는 자는 들어왔다가 나가려 하면 신명들이 등을 쳐 들이며 ‘이곳을 벗어나면 죽으리라.’ 이르고

If those not graced with such devotion and virtue somehow enter My dao, spirits thrust them forth by their foreheads, declaring, ‘You have no place here.’
음덕이 없는 자는 설혹 들어왔을지라도 이마를 쳐 내치며 ‘이곳은 네가 못 있을 곳이라.’ 이르느니라.
